Sick. As. A. Dog

That's me! Now, I don't have major snottiness or coughing and my really sore throat went away this morning, after being horrible last night, but I feel so weak and wiped out. I had planned to cook and bake and candy make today, and instead I have been holed up in bed. At least I got the last of the shopping done for the girls yesterday, so no matter how I feel tomorrow, they will have Christmas. My extended family is another story. I have no idea if I will be able to make the chocolate and caramel covered pretzels this year for everyone. Probably not. And I think a big turkey dinner tomorrow night is out. Maybe, I can whip up some cinnamon buns for Christmas morning, since the dough is already made and in the freezer. At least, as long as I feel better, dinner on Christmas is covered by my dad.

Oh, this sucks so bad. I hate being out for the count. It makes me feel like such a failure.

Sorry to hear this. Get better if you can but enjoy Christmas even if you're physcially impacted!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to y'all!

A failure for being sick? Miranda...

I know you feel really badly and I'm sorry. I hope that you have a quick recovery! All the merriment is sure to make you feel better and the best part of this? You can just relax and enjoy your family without rushing about trying to get things done. Put your feet up, grab a cuppa and listen to some Christmas music with the girls.

Love you and miss you so much!

Thanks, Frank! Merry, merry to you all as well.
Flo, not a failure for being sick. A failure for leaving all to the eleventh hour (as usual) and having sickness force me to cut my plans and expectations drastically. Bleh. Thanks for the comment, I feel better already!

There will be other turkey dinner days, and other days for having chocolate-dipped all kinds of things!
Have a bright, warm, loving Christmas with your safe, healthy family! (Well, with the healthy remainder of your family, and I'm sorry you're sick.)
