Like Odysseus...
I go home tomorrow. It has taken me longer than 10 years to get home, and I haven't been fighting a war in the meantime, but I feel road weary and eager to be back in familiar spaces. Soon, I will be able to say "I dwell in shining Ithaca" once more.
Wish us luck on the last minute details and a smooth closing! See you in a week!

It seems like your move just keeps getting earlier and earlier. Woo hoo! Have a great trip "back home"!
Cheryl- We are only going up for the closing on the house. I get to split my time betwen NY and VA until the final move around the Holidays. I wish it were so soon, but it'll have to do.
