Studio Saturday

Tonight I am hosting the first of what I hope to be many Studio Saturdays. Basically, this is one answer to my desire to build community. I am inviting friends to come to my house and create art, work on a knitting project, sew up a little something, whatever they are working on. I have set up an awesome space in the basement for arts and crafts and sewing and I want to see it used. I desire more art in my life, so once a month I am going to get it!

I only sent out an invite a couple of days ago to the members of my local unschooling group and the response has been great! We are going to have a full house and I am so excited. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of a wonderful thing. I'll be sure to tell you how it went and share some pictures. Oh, and if you are local, you are invited!
